HivePulse smart beehive monitoring device fighting vandalism and theft, while increasing hive health awareness through intuitive technology.
Ever since Albert Mutangiri was a young boy, growing up in the pumpkin fields of Zimbabwe, he had a deep fascination of bees and what mysteries their hives hold.
Today, Albert is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in computer science and the CEO of Blue Bean Software, a premier, Joburg-based custom software development house, delivering complex world-class software solutions.
One of these solutions is his own passion project, HivePulse. This product developed by Blue Bean Software, brought together talented technologists who are also enthusiastic about solving real-world challenges, using smart technologies.
Utilising his knowledge and skills in IoT (Internet of Things), matched with his passion for Apiology, he is on a journey to help solve challenges surrounding hive and honey theft, while developing new ways to understand and manage one’s beehive more efficiently.
